Video Clip Submitter
Video Clip Submitter
Traffic Geyser is the ultimate video clip submitter. So how long should your video be to get good results and fast and plentiful sales. Here's the information from the Traffic Geyser crew.
One of the most common questions we receive from members is "how long should a video be"?
Another is "What's your overall experience with the effectiveness of professionally produced videos vs. home videos, like webcams, etc.? Or does it depend on where/how you’re using them? (I’ve heard homemade ones are often more effective.)"
Let’s answer the first question – these are the lengths you should be considering when making videos for a video clip submitter such as Traffic Geyser.
Offer video (advertisement): 0:30-0:60
Marketing video: 0:60-3:00
Sales video: 1:00-7:00
Education/edutainment: 7:00-45:00
Webinar/teleseminar/replay: 30:00-90:00
Obviously different video submission sites have different maximum lengths, so you may be limited by that too. If you use Traffic Geyser as your video submission tool it will warn you if your clip is too long.
With regards to "homemade" versus "professional" – here is what the Traffic Geyser video clip submitter team think:
It depends on the content – home made videos can be VERY effective as long as you’re real and believable.
And it does depend on context. There’s NOTHING wrong with homemade videos – and using a webcam or a Flip camera work just fine for them. Just make sure you’re using a good microphone and your lighting is good.
These are "rules of thumb" – you can always break the rules if necessary, but I’ve found these tips to generally work for most applications.
