Hanky Panky – Blameless designer Wilder is pursued by snoops, cops, etc. Predictable, hardly preposterous comedy-thriller, with Radner miscast as the love interest. The film was intended to be a follow-up to Stir Crazy, although Richard Pryor's part was modified for Gilda. You have seen it all before, and more superior. Cast includes Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky, Josef Sommer, and Johnny Sekka. (88 minutes, 1982)

The Interpreter – U.N. translator Silvia Broome overhears a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was watched and worries for her life. Upon reporting the circumstance to law enforcement, she finds that aid will not come easy.

Bewitched – Isabelle is a witch, living in the San Fernando Valley, and trying to not use her magic powers. She finds herself being courted by actor Jack Watt to play the role of Samantha the witch in a remake of the old 1960's sitcom Bewitched. What a odd twist of fate.

Big Trouble in Little China – Buddy Blowhard trucker Russell finds himself at large in Chinatown, while a friend's fiance is kidnapped right in front of his eyes. High tech Indiana Jones fashion venture has large tongue-in-cheek conduct, however everything else in reference to it is large, too including Russell's John Wayne swagger. Exceptional electric music score. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, James Hong, Champ Wong, and Kate Burton. (99 minutes, 1986)

In Enemy Country – So-so designer of WW2 enthrall, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not extremely persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer, Guy Stockwell, Paul Hubschmid, Tom Bell, and Emile Genest. (107 minutes, 1968)

The Geisha Boy – Jerry, an clumsy warlock, travels to Japan with disastrous repercussions. Ingenious graphic gags; there is a clever pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, purposely, Gil Hodges. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Marie McDonald, Sessue Hayakawa, Nobu McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Barton MacLane, and Robert Hirano. (98 minutes, 1958)

House of the Black Death – Wizard keeps individuals prisoner in a creepy older house; dreadfully dragged out, poor grade stuff. Cast includes Lon Chaney, Jr., John Carradine, Andrea King, and Tom Drake. (80 minutes, 1965)

Bolt – This is an animated family adventure movie about Bolt, a dog actor. On his Television series Bolt is an action super hero. When he is inadvertently shipped to New York, he thinks his super powers will send him home. He teams up with, Mittens the cat, and Rhino the hamster, and tries to get home to Hollywood.
